An urgent requirement for an experienced Test Analyst with very strong QTP skills. Working within an Agile environment, you will be responsible for the creation of QTP Scripts and the review of 3rd party delivered scripts. It is essential that you possess excellent Scripting knowledge, either VBScript of Jscript, and ideally at least 4 years QTP experience. Other key attributes include; Understanding of network concepts, logical/physical system design, Test Director or Quality Centre, Visual Studio, QTP Terminal Emulator or .NET add-ins.

Senior Test Manager, Banking, London

A challenging position within a major global bank to provide expert test advice and solutions to a range of projects and programmes. Working as an internal consultant, you will be required to shape and advise on testing best practice and on occasion, support delivery of test for numerous financial projects in line with the global IT strategy, managing teams in multiple locations. You will be required to ensure stakeholder buy-in and support testing throughout the project life cycle, communicate the progress at all stages, achieve stakeholder sign-off and effectively deliver to UAT, complying with all documentation standards throughout the process. You will be responsible for producing metrics and reports on the status of testing throughout.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background of managing testing within major programmes, Matrix managing other teams in different locations/time zones. You will have experience of negotiating testing deliverables with the business, ensuring quality is not risked through delivery deadline pressure, and respond to challenge from business & project teams, achieving the best use of automation (HP/Mercury tools), delivering projects within a structured framework (Waterfall, Prince2). A background in banking is not essential, but experience of large projects with fast moving, pressured environments on a global scale.

QA Manager, Insurance, London. Fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA Manager to join this global insurer, providing QA and project assurance to a number of strategic projects. This recently established QA and Test Function is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality are applied to all projects delivered into live. A number of key business initiatives are driving a portfolio of projects that will dramatically change the shape of the business moving forward and as such, require a strong QA Manager to shape and implement robust QA processes to both the technical and business elements of the programme. You will be required to assess the current quality standards in place and recommend initiatives to improve processes, from both a programme and corporate perspective, dealing with 3 rd party organisations and ensuring their adherence to quality standards, to mentor other members of the QA & Test function, deliver project assurance standards (steering boards, project review etc). Ideally, your background and experience will be within an Insurance environment, involving both QA and software testing, experience of Prince2, ISEB foundation in Software Testing would be beneficial and have experience of the full end to end test life cycle, appreciation of automation.

Reporting into the CIO, and working within a large outsourced IT department, the Test Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining best practice testing standards, creating the overall Test Strategy, working with the IS Business Partners to create the Quality Assurance approach for each IS project and management of both 3rd party suppliers and internal staff for UAT.
IT Experience: Experience of call management systems and report writing packages. Thorough knowledge of formal software testing methodologies, techniques and life cycle, such as White and Black Box testing and the ability to communicate this knowledge to project managers to assist with planning projects.
