Test Analyst - Automation

This financial organisation has a requirement for a Tester with particular skills within test automation. Working alongside the Test Manager, you will create manual and automated test scripts based on business specification documentation, identify relevant data, maintain data, execute scripts and track/raise defects. Ideally you will have experience of Microsoft .NET environments/SQL Server. It is beneficial to have experience of C#, VBScript or JScript and any knowledge of Visual Studio 2005/2008. It is essential to have a particular strength with test automation tools, such as QTP or Test Complete. Knowledge of the financial industry (Pensions, Asset etc) and the ISEB qualification would also be highly desired. This role is for an immediate start in Sept 2010.

Test Analyst - Automation - QTP

Urgent requirement for an experienced Tester, with strong Automation background to support Financial Projects team in the creation of Regression Test packs using QTP. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for Acceptance Testing and co-ordinating UAT. QTP and QC experience is essential for this role, with strong SQL, Sharepoint Server and VB Scripting skills advantageous. Candidates must have proven track record in creation and delivery of Automated regression test packs using QTP. This is an end to end role, with the Test Analyst responsible for High-Level test plan and script creation, execution, issue resolution, progress and test reporting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are therefore mandatory. This is initially a 3 month role based in the M4 corridor with a leading Financial services organisation.

Test Coordinator, Banking

An interesting project for a small investment house, coordinating the testing effort of a virtualisation project, moving the core business applications to a SAN/VMware environment. You will be required to work alongside the Programme Manager, creating a business focussed, pragmatic test approach, covering everything from requirement capture, high level test plans, low level test scripts and test environment specification. You will need experience of defining test strategies within organisations with little or no existing test set up, gaining buy-in from senior management and be able to carry out hands on testing when required. You will require an Investment Management/Banking background.

Non-Functional Test Lead - Security

Experienced Test Lead required for the delivery of a Non-functional test strategy and execution for a complex online banking project.
Specifically focused on Security and OAT, the Test Lead is required to define approach and methodology, with responsibility for managing Test Deliverables for entire project life cycle.
The Test Lead will be responsible for taking complex, non-functional requirements and converting into robust test solutions.
Security testing will focus on (but not limited to) Fail-Over, Authentication, Denial of Service Attacks and Disaster Recovery.
It is essential that you have a proven track record of creating Technical Test plans and can demonstrate successful delivery of Non-functional testing on large IT projects.
Strong Team Leading and Management skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

QA Manager - Investment Banking - Server Re-Engineering, London - Permanant

Global Investment Bank requires a Technical Test Manager for multi-phase project to re-architect front to Back Office Listed Futures and Options processes.
This is a complex, technical, Server Side re-engineering project, involving multiple new technologies and management of third party system integrators and delivery resource.
Working alongside the Bank's Integration partner, The Test Manager will lead specialist teams responsible for reviewing the integrity, design and performance of its new systems and solutions, with end to end responsibility for the SDLC. If defects in performance and quality are identified, it will be the Test Managers responsibility to co-ordinate and manage testing and 3rd party resource to facilitate re-architecting the solution.
Significant Technical Test Management and Delivery experience is required, ideally within an Investment Banking environment. Previous experience of leading multiple, globally diverse testing steams is advantageous. Experience of leading multi-server, multi site projects and knowledge of multiple development methodologies (eg TDD, Waterfall, V-Model) is desirable.
Although this role places an emphasis on Technical ability, it is essential, that the Test Manager has strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact with business stakeholders at board level.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to take ownership for Testing and QA in FX, for a global Investment Bank.
The Test Manager will lead a Quality Assurance function for the Global Finance Foreign Exchange, Market Data, Pricing and Trade Processing teams. The teams are spread globally, with dedicated QA resource in on, near and off - shore locations. The Bank's goal is to improve quality of the products, streamline and further improve SDLC and define a strategic roadmap for the QA function, with an overall focus on delivery.
This is a high visibility role which interfaces with multiple business areas across Global Finance, Debt, Sales and Research. This role is as much about winning hearts as influencing minds and therefore strong communication and stakeholder management skills are vital.
