Test Team Leader required for leading Financial Services/General Insurance client, based in Hampshire.

This role is to take overall responsibility for design, development and delivery of Systems Integration Testing, Operational/User Acceptance Testing of applications relevant to a number of business functions inc Underwriting, Sales Development, Brokerage, Quotations, Aggregator/Provider support.

The TL is responsible for ensuring all solutions meet client quality criteria before the deployment to live. You will be the key referral point for all aspects of Testing for the business, capable of defining, developing and implementing industry testing best practice.

In addition, you will have responsibility for managing small business/technology teams, which will include Test Planning, Pipeline, Resource Schedules, Progress Tracking and Reporting.

Candidates will need to have excellent organisational and planning skills, complemented by excellent communication skills for managing relationships with both internal contacts and 3rd parties.

Key Skills

• Proven track record of delivery of Testing solutions and Services within a Financial Services or General Insurance background
• Extensive knowledge of various G.I/FI Servs platforms
• Knowledge of Regulatory requirements and Industry initiatives

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Test analyst who is capable of taking a scenario-based' approach to testing to undertake an assignment with our client, a market leader within a unique space.

Working as an essential part of a small team, you will be required to be involved in UI, Functional and Integration testing. You'll be required to carry out a variety of work from test design through to manual and automated Scripting.

You will be working on unique ERP systems so you'll need solid experience of testing modules such as Sales, Resource, Transport and/or Finance.

You will need to demonstrate strong technical skills around SQL. Automation knowledge is also of particular interest to our client with good working knowledge of QTP 9.2 or above or VB Scripting capabilities.

Exposure to Progress Databases would be of interest to our client though not essential.

Our client is looking for an experienced Non-Functional Test Consultant to undertake a 6 month contract assignment for a leading Financial Services organisation.

You will need to have a high level of technical understanding of non-functional testing, performance testing and tuning. You will need an excellent hands-on knowledge and capabilities of performance test tools; IBM Rational Performance Tester is highly advantageous, although demonstrable expertise in other tool sets such Loadrunner or Facilita, JMeter will also be of interest.

The Consultant must have the ability to construct technical proposals for delivery of performance testing solutions, (including mitigation strategies), developing tool capabilities and providing bespoke solutions for Performance test solutions as required.

In addition, exceptional analysis skills are required, with the ability to understand system application architecture and areas requiring attention from a performance perspective.

In addition the role will involve preparing and running workshops and you will need to have the presentation and communication skills to ensure agreements can be articulated and shared amongst business and technical stakeholders

Experienced Test Manager required for a Global Desktop Upgrade project from MS2003 to MS2010, working with a large professional services organisation based in London.

Candidates will be responsible for managing the end-to-end test process, including logging of requests, scheduling, quality checking, establishing entry and exit criteria, resource allocation and scheduling, quality gate' management. A key aspect of the role will be to define the test strategy and processes for this project. Our client requires a Test Manager with solid experience of managing a technical rollout/desktop upgrade utilising Microsoft Technologies ie Active Directory, MS Exchange, Windows Server 2003/2008/2010 and OS including Windows 7 and XP. SEB Test Manager Certification would be advantageous as would ITIL qualifications. Essential Skills
