WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Centre4 Testing is the UK’s dominant test ‘hub’.
We’ve been in testing longer than most. Our Founder, Tony Wells, started testing on a PEP/ISA system in the City in 1989. He went on to form what became the UK’s largest test consultancy before successfully floating it on the stock market and selling it in 2002. Tony is an innovator and is often heard to say “organisations have no interest in building test empires – in fact, they don’t really want to do testing - they simply want confidence in their systems through risk-management at a sensible cost”.
Ryan Hannigan co-founded Centre4 Testing in 2003 and has worked with Tony since 1999. Ryan knows “who’s who” in testing better than anyone. If Ryan doesn’t know a tester personally, then he will know someone who does!
Emma Gray first worked with Tony and Ryan in 2000 and is Centre4 Testing’s Business Development Director. Emma has held a number of Board appointments in the testing industry and is well-known for providing customer service that is second to none. She will help you form a solution that is both pragmatic and cost-effective – and then make sure the team delivers it.
Craig Hodgson is Centre4 Testing’s Head of Automation Practice. Although he’s too modest to say it himself, what he doesn’t know about HP tools is probably not worth knowing. After all, he was one of Mercury’s key team and is a Certified Instructor. He embraces all automation so long as the strategy is right and is a fan of open-source tools such as Selenium.
Richard Collins is our cloud ‘guru’. If you’re considering moving to the cloud or using our Cloud Tester services you should speak with Richard – if he isn’t appearing at yet another cloud conference!
Jonathan Doyle, Andy Gunn, Richard Morris, Stephanie Basior and Yolandi Struthers are all senior members of the Account Management teams and deliver a customer experience that sets the standard in our industry.
